Frequently Asked Questions about Soy Candles

At Mountain Embers Candles, we offer a variety of soy scented candles in mason jars, all made with eco-friendly and natural ingredients. As well as safe around pets.

Within 7 days of delivery, please send a picture of the candle to mountainemberscandles@gmail.com, along with your name and order number. We are happy to replace any item that arrives broken/damaged in the shipping process.

Trim wick to 1/4 inches before lighting. Keep candle free of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level fire-resistant surface. Do not burn for more than four (4) hours at a time. Do not burn the candle all the way down to the end of the jar. Blow out candles before you go to bed or leave the house. Never leave children alone in a room with a burning candle. Never use a candle if there is someone on oxygen in the home.

This happens if you have not trimmed the wick. Try trimming the wick and see if it burns better.

This happens if it is in a drafty area, try moving the candle. 

If the candle is burning to fast, it means it has an air pocket. Sometimes candles when they cool to fast will get a pocked or mottle surface this is normal.

Once the candle is extinguished and the wax has cooled a bit, use a spoon or a knife and scrape the excess around the tunnel. Relight the candle and ensure it burns long enough to reset the wax memory.

Yes, we ship within the US and Canada. Free shipping over $50.00. During times of extreme heat, we may wait a few days to ship. We only will ship Monday thru Wednesday if it is determined that Second Day Air is needed. Tracking will be provided as well.

Orders placed can not be cancelled. It is our goal to ship your order as soon as possible, so we begin processing your order immediately after it has been placed.
